Whether it is his physical features, his noble character, his personal belongings, or his daily habits, understanding these nuances is both a sacred right and a spiritual responsibility.
Among the many milestones of Prophetic history, the Miraj stands as one of the most celebrated. We know that as far as a human or any creation is concerned, to meet and greet their Creator is the greatest and ultimate achievement in their life. There is no fathomable joy more blessed than this opportunity for which we yearn with every breath. Indeed, this divine encounter represents the highest bliss promised in Paradise
A Sufi once insightfully remarked that the greatest miracle of the Miraj was not that the Holy Prophet met his Lord, but that he returned to his Ummah afterward. Even after experiencing the pinnacle of celestial joy, he did not forget us.
We may not need further proof of his boundless love, care, concern, compassion and affection for us. Yet the vital question remains: the mystery is not the depth of the Messenger’s love for us, but to what degree do we endear him? We need to answer that with our actions and emotions. And tears as well.
