July 23 2012 : With a view to revive the life and message of Sayyid Muhammadali Shihab Thangal among the young generation, a commemorative conference on the late legendary sage of Kerala will be held on the 25th July 2012 at the MEA Engineering College in Perinthalamanna.
The delegates at the seminar include Sayyid Munawwarali Shihab Thangal, youngest son of the late Sayyid and the treasurer of the College, Kottumala Bapu Musliyar, Chairman of Kerala Hajj Committee, K Mammad Faizi, Secretary MEA College, P Abdul Hameed Master, Secretary Malappuram District Muslim League and CP Saidalavi, senior journalist
Mujeeb Jaihoon, the prominent mystic poet based in Sharjah, will present his English poem about Sayyid Shihab Thangal at the seminar.
Sayyid Shihab Thangal passed away on Aug 01 2009.
