Meem: The Celestial Crown of Compassion

Inspired by Salat al-Taj, Jaihoon’s poetic tribute unveils the luminous grace, boundless mercy, and divine grandeur of the Holy Prophet.

Ya Rabb!
May countless good descend
On the crown of love,
Who, on Buraq, to heavens ascent.

Whose mention repels
Pain, hunger, and disease.
Whose name shines
On the Tablet sublime.

Who leads humanity
Across the entire ethnicity.
Whose body and mind,
Pure and fragrant.
Whose heart
Radiates the Haram.
Sun burns with his light,
Moon blushes with his sight.

Refuge of the weak,
Redeemer of the sinners.
Master of majestic manners,
Savior of races and nations.
Beneficent, munificent—his
Praise has no end.

Lord, his guardian;
Gabriel, his aide;
Buraq, his ride;
Sidrat, his reach.

His desire set foot
Where his heart eyed.

Chief of prophets,
Champion of hope,
Friend of the forsaken,
Compassion of the forlorn.

Relief for the restless,
Solace for the seekers,
Lamp for the learners,
Patron for the poor.

Darling of the Creator,
Emperor of the worlds,
Axis of the universe,
Secret of creation.

Grandpa of Hasanain,
Grandeur of Adam,
Gleam of Jinn
Glory of beasts.

Hey Meem!
Is not your light
From His light?
Is not your desire
Our hearts’ prayer?
